Findmypast is an online genealogy service which has operated since 2003.
- The website hosts billions of records. This includes census returns, trade and street directories, newspapers, and data on emigration.
- All this data is sourced through a central search page.
- In recent years Findmypast has partnered with many other genealogical organisations.
- Findmypast has partnerships with the National Archives of Ireland and Family Search. It also includes The British Library and The UK National Archives.
- This service provides access to the largest collection of Irish records online. This also includes Northern Ireland.
Free access to Findmypast is available on any of the public internet access computers in all our libraries.
