Terms and conditions for both categories must be accepted by parents/guardians.

Young Adults aged 12-14 can access the children’s and young adult collections, DVDs up to a 12 rating, and can use Internet services with parental permission.

Young Adults aged 15-17 can access all library collections, DVDs up to 15 rating, and can use the Internet with parental permission.

An annual programme of events takes place for teenagers in late February and early March, in collaboration with the Ennis Book Club Festival.

Past events enjoyed by secondary school students include audiences with YA authors, writing and illustration workshops, music events, history talks and teen health and wellness events.
