Clare Libraries supports accessible services provided by external partners such as The National Council for the Blind’s service BookShare. BookShare is an online database of ebooks and learning resources.
Bookshare Ireland is for students with print disabilities, including visual impairment, Dyslexia, or a physical disability that limits a person from being able to read print.
Bookshare Ireland’s digital collection includes primary and secondary school books as well as books for further and higher education. Every month, the Bookshare Ireland collection increases by an average of 7000 new titles in a variety of accessible formats.
