The Press Photographers Association of Ireland (www.ppai.ie) hosts their annual awards every year in February which celebrates the very best in Irish press photography and with one photographer winning the overall title of Irish Press Photographer of the Year. As a result an exhibition of the winning and highly commended photographs tour the country from March onwards visiting many different venues for the public to view and enjoy. The exhibition features over 100 prints. Edna O’Brien Library, Scariff will host a selection of photos from the exhibition.
