A patchwork quilt with a white teddy surrounded by patchwork of various sizes and shapes. There are three markers resting on the quilt in colours of red, pink and black.

Cruinniú na nÓg is a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. This year it will be celebrated on 15 June.

Create your own illustrated picture book in the style of Lauren Child, based on the story Nana’s Patchwork Teddy. Using patterned paper to decorate your drawings and vivid coloured markers for the book that you bring home when you are done. There are three workshops to attend at Ennistymon Library – 4, 8, 11 June with the finished books being read with the participants at 11.30am on Saturday, 15 June.
