Dr Terry Dunne was appointed Historian in Residence with Clare Libraries for 2024. Terry has a Doctorate in Sociology from Maynooth University which examined so-called threatening letters created in agrarian social conflict in pre-Famine Ireland. He has recently edited, with John Cunningham of Galway University, ‘Spirit of Revolution: Ireland from below 1917-1923′ (Four Courts Press, 2024).
