The personal diaries of Frances Hetty Ievers (1876 -1959) are a collection of thirteen diaries covering a period of time from 1907-1934. The diaries contain snippets of information, newspaper cuttings, and letters relating to daily/weekly events at Mount Ievers Court, Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare, and Glenduff Castle estate (burned during the Irish Civil War) in Co. Limerick.
A curated selection of diaries, photographs and related ephemera, from both the Butler and Ievers diaries, will be on display at the Sixmilebridge Library from 22 May until 13 June, 2024.
