Dr Susan Arthure has a PhD in archaeology from Flinders University. Her research focuses on the material lives of those Irish who migrated across the globe post Famine. Her research into the community of Baker’s Flat in Australia identified the first complete exemplar of a clachán (traditional Irish settlement system) to be recognised outside of Ireland to date.

Dr Peter Connell completed a PhD in Trinity College Dublin in 2017 on the history of public housing in Irish towns in the years 1890-1945. He is the author of 'The land and people of County Meath, 1750-1850' (Four Courts Press, 2004) and is active in local history groups in his native Meath.
