The front area of Ennistymon Library has received a massive facelift over the last couple of months. Thanks to our colleagues at West Clare Municipal office who obtained funding (Community Recognition Funding) to reopen the public toilets there, including making them accessible for all with a passenger lift.
The works also included the repaving of the front area of the Library and the former Area Office. The inclusion of the new planters helps create a real plaza feeling and we hope that library members and the public in Ennistymon all enjoy the new space.
Please also call into see the library garden at the back of the library. It is a lovely place to sit and read when the weather is good. We think it makes a perfect ‘Secret Garden’.
