Researching Kidd and Nery families

My great great grandfather was William Kidd and lived in Broadford. He was a clerk of the petty sessions and was married to Margaret Nery of Violethill. William's father was Issaak and Margaret's father John and his occupation was a soldier.

Margaret and William had a son William (also a clerk of the petty sessions) and children Annie, Margaret,Elizabeth and possibly Mary.

I have found some information about the Kidd family but nothing about the Nery family. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.
