My name is Kim Coneybear Roos and I am trying to find my irish roots! Aren't we all!
My ancestors came from Ireland @ unknown times. Uder some info has them coming from "free Ireland" but I am not familiar with this term and family stories have them coming from county Clare so here is what I know.....James Conlin b 1854, immigrated 1882 (but I find no record) Married Bridget Scanlan -I have no DOB or immigration date and cannot find a marriage record here I the US. These would be my gr. gr grandparents (my nana's grandparents on her mom-Agnes T Conlin's side) They settled in Massachusetts then Rhode Island. Then my Nana's paternal grand mother was Jane Mcalevey came fron Ireland but I don't know where/when only that she was in Massachusetts when she had her son John F Lennon in 1876, I cannot find marriage record for her and James Lennon.
I know this is weak at best but any leads/advice is helpful! Thanks, Kim
