Kieran, Thanks so much for the update on John O'Leary and Mary Jane Finucane. The suggestions from Miriam were certainly right-on!

Did either of the records give the maiden name of the mother of Mary Jane, and the cemetery where the Finucane's are buried?

From the Scully family of Arizona, USA.

Bob

No, Bob, neither of those items was revealed. We only know the mother's first name is Bridget from the census record.

Hi,

I have a picture of Mr Finucane and his wife c 1914 copied from Knockerra NS. I also have a summary from Commission on Folklore on the teachers in Knockerra school including references to Finnucanes. Please contact me on maryclancy@eircom.net with your email and I will forward.
