The marriage of Rebecca Arthur to James Hanrahan took place on 16 Jun 1893. I failed to find a civil record of the marriage, but found the parish record in the Doora-Barefield parish marriage register, as transcribed by Clare Roots Society: (search “Doora-Barefield Marriage Records” – this transcription goes up to 1900; it does not give witnesses, but is very useful for researchers).
The work I’ve done in the last couple of week on the mourners at the funeral of Joe Considine has given me no further information on the Considines, which was what I’d set out to find at the beginning, but the posting by Jimbo on page 45 of the topic “Information is wanted of Thomas McNamara, of Glandree”, which begins with “Fearful Murder in the County Clare” and goes on to give an account of the death of Michael Molony in Rathclooney (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6965&start=660), mentions that a Jerry Considine was sponsor at the baptism of John Molony, eldest son of Michael Molony and Honora Considine, on 3 December 1852. I think this Jerry Considine must be either the father of Honora Considine, or her brother, and therefore either father or brother of Daniel Considine of Kilgobbin. So Jimbo, I am thanking you for that piece of information.

Re: Considine Family Tree
Hello at last Considine researchers!! FINALLY!!!
I am a direct decendant of the Considines of Cragleigh, Dysert, Co. Clare. My great grandfather was Michael Considine who you will see in the 1901 Census for Cragleigh. He was a renowned HORSE TRAINER!! My great great grandmother was the MARY CONSIDINE you see listed for Cragleigh in 1901. My GREAT GREAT GREAT Grandfather John Considine died in Ennis Workhouse (the ONLY thing reminiscent of a public hospital back then) in 1898 at the age of 100 years!! His son John died before him in 1890 which is why Mary is listed as a widow. The centenarian John was originally a Considine from Kilquane Crss and Cragnagour. His son too. Mary was a Considine too from the old Ballynacally/Kilchrist parish (Clondagad) where she was married to young John Considine of Kilquane/Cragleigh in the late 1840's. They had many sons and one daughter. I will list out all their details in my followup posts. Please feel free to private message me at any time about the Considines of Cragleigh, Kilquane Cross, Cragnagour and Clondagad. Or email: GAClayton@Hotmail.com for more direct comms.

Re: Considine Family Tree
Here is a colourised photo of the Considines of Cragleigh originally taken in the 1890's. (I can post the original). The bearded man on the far left is old John Considine (1798-1898). The lady on the right is Mary Considine (neé Considine - cousin to her late husband) who is my Great Great Grandmother. The men in between are James and Micheal Considine. Michael is my Great grandfather. More information to follow....
