Hi Kerrie

I don't think there's a forum like this one.

I looked at the Cork County Library website: https://www.corkcoco.ie/library-services and found that there’s a Local Studies and Family History service, which includes a Genealogy section and this important advice: “With advance booking we can assist you with your research when you come to use the Family History resources. Please contact localstudieslibrary@corkcoco.ie. “
So when you are planning your trip to Ireland later this year, include an email to that address. I'm sure it will help if you have done as much homework as possible beforehand. Check for records of the Co. Cork family you are researching using these websites:
Tithe applotment: http://Titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie
Griffith’s Valuation: http://askaboutireland.ie
Parish records: https://registers.nli.ie
Civil Birth, Death and Marriage records: https://www.irishgenealogy.ie
Census records: http://census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
All these are free. And one other very good site, which was free up to recently, but may have changed (I’m not sure): https://www.familysearch.org/search
