I am looking for any information on Patrick Torphy from Scariff. What I know is that he left Ireland (when he was 23) as part of the Assisted Immigration scheme and went to South Africa (Cape) in 1859. With him were his wife Julia 24, Patrick 5, Mary 3 and infant Catherine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
