Hi I am retracing the Howard, McInerney'a and the Hallinans from Australia back to Ireland, and am asking for any kind of help

Peter Howard and Honora McInerney we think were married around 1832 and lived at Toovahera County Clare.???????????
Their children were
Patrick born abt 1841 who came to Australia and married Mary Hallinan in 1864
Margaret born abt 1833 came to Australia and married John O'Flaherty in 1855

Michael born abt 1843 we think came but have not found any records
Thomas born abt 1846 we know nothing of
Bridget born abt 1848 we also know nothing of

Mary Hallinan's brother Patrick also came to Australia and married Mary Cusack possiably being married to her before they came or soon after arriving in Australia
Mary and Patrick Hallinans perants were Jno Hallinan and Bridget Torpy
Any info would be welcomed.

Hi Cathy,
Toovahera is an area in North Clare, north east of Lisdoonvarna village. See http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclar ... 24725Z15R1. I searched in the surrounding townlands for your family names, and found a Murty and John McInerney in Ballyconnoe South, Killeany Parish in the Tithe Applotment Books (1831) http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclar ... lleany.htm. There aren't any McInerneys listed in Ballyconnoe South in the 1855 survey - Griffiths Valuation. This might be the Toovahera you are looking for.
