Book clubs for adults are organised by Clare Libraries. The reading groups meet monthly to discuss books.

The book club reviews material chosen by the book club members. The book club members discuss and share their thoughts on the chosen books. The aim of the book club is to share with others the pleasures of reading and to expand members’ reading experiences.  The dates and times of book club meetings are listed below.

    This month we are reading 'Finding Hannah' by M.A. Purcell and/or 'The Language of Flowers' by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. Author M.A. Purcell will be joining us in Shannon Library on Saturday 22 February at 12pm as part of a crime writers discussion panel. This is a free event and all are welcome. Copies of the books are available in Shannon Library or as an eAudiobook through the BorrowBox service.
