In memory of Edna O’Brien we will be screening a film adaptation of her novel, The Country Girls. Released in 1983 and aired on RTE, the film stars Sam Neill, Jill Doyle and Maeve Germaine. The story follows two young girls, Cait Brady and Baba Brennan, as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and adulthood.
