Historian and author of Image and vision: reflecting with the Book of Kells, Rosemary Power will give a talk focusing on twelve of the manuscript’s images, and how we can interpret them, what they meant to the people who made these illuminations, how they connected images and biblical texts, how they used colours and what was involved in the making of the book.
