Come and create a self-portrait in fabric and recycled materials, or make a portrait based on someone you love, with mixed media artist Lynn Kenny and visual artist Hazel Griffin. We will use fabrics; felt, old bits of clothing, buttons, feathers, wool, beads, etc., to create your own unique portrayal of yourself or loved one. You are welcome to bring your own bits of materials or buttons, etc . Think outside the box; maybe bring old keyboard buttons, zips, items that remind you of eyes, mouths. We will be gluing and adding details with stitch. There will be lots of materials, etc., to use on the day too!
